Description Job Summary We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In / Primary Care clinic in Wimberley, TX. This full-time role blends walk-in care with traditional primary care, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both acute and routine primary care needs across a broad patient population. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute, non-emergent conditions in a walk-in clinic setting - Provide ongoing primary care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine follow-up visits - Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans - Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics - Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care - Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Qualifications - Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) - Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred - Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills - Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting Schedule & Compensation - Full-time position with a consistent schedule - Competitive compensation based on experience - Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
