As an integral member of our Accounting and Finance team, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our commercial real estate portfolio. This includes shopping centers, office buildings, and other commercial properties. With a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail, you will ensure that all financial transactions and reports align with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all financial aspects of a portfolio of commercial properties, including shopping centers. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial records, expenditures, and investments. Utilize industry-specific software (Yardi, MRI, RealPage) to streamline accounting processes and procedures. Collaborate with property management teams to develop budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations related to property accounting. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the preparation of audit materials. Participate in strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making processes at the management level. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting. Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi, MRI, and RealPage. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and reporting requirements related to commercial real estate. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
