Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager in our Applied Science and
Innovation division. This new role will support the scientific and
research studies in the Program Management Office. The Role: ·
Maintain project documentation: assist with Gantt charts, trackers,
RAID logs, action items, and deliverables. · Prepare timelines
using MS Project and standardized templates; surface delays and
escalate as needed. · Administer study intake, readiness
checklists, and kickoff logistics. · Liaise among study directors,
technical teams, and support units to ensure communication and
alignment. · Support budget awareness and assist in coordination of
financial reporting or resource planning activities. · Lead
cross-functional meetings: create agendas, drive discussion,
capture outcomes, and track follow-ups. · Independently develop and
manage project timelines in MS Project; adjust based on real-time
execution. · Draft, review, and submit sponsor deliverables and
reports in compliance with requirements and timelines. · Provide
feasibility inputs and generate detailed timelines during proposal
development. · Monitor and manage scope, schedule, and
deliverables; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. ·
Coordinate with QC/QA and regulatory staff to ensure adherence to
protocols and compliance standards. · Review study protocols, SOWs,
contracts, and final reports for accuracy and alignment with
requirements. · Oversee sponsor-facing financial deliverables:
coordinate with finance teams, monitor deadlines, and ensure
accuracy prior to submission. Our Ideal Candidate: · Bachelor’s
degree (STEM preferred) • Minimum of 2 years in a scientific,
technical, or government research environment (e.g., project
coordination, study execution, or research operations), ideally
client-facing • Strong communication, documentation, and
organizational skills • Has or is actively pursuing formal project
management (PMP) certification • Proficiency in MS Project and
Excel; familiarity with PM lifecycle and deliverable workflows •
PgMP or CAPM with extensive experience preferred • Proven
experience independently managing sponsor-facing scientific
projects preferred • Skilled at managing scope, schedule, and
budget across multiple concurrent studies • Proven ability to
synthesize technical study protocols into actionable project plans,
trackers, and sponsor deliverables • Familiarity with regulated
research environments (GLP, BSL, FDA, NIH, DoD), and experience
navigating compliance and documentation standards • Strong
strategic thinking, problem-solving, and situational judgment in
