Job Description:
POSITION REPORTS TO: Sales Manager WAGES: Commensurate with
experience SCHEDULE: TBN INTERNAL TRANSFERS : To qualify for an
internal transfer at Sun Coast, you must have been in your current
position for a minimum of one year, and be in good standing.
Internal applicants should notify their supervisor or manager of
their interest in the new position. RESPONSIBILITIES Represent Sun
Coast Resources with professionalism and integrity Display a keen
sense of teamwork with Sun Coast Associates Present and sell
company products and services to current and potential clients
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and
to project the number of contacts to be made Follow up on new leads
and referrals resulting from field activity Identify sales
prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned Prepare
presentations, proposals and sales contracts Develop and maintain
sales materials and current product knowledge Establish and
maintain current client and potential client relationships Prepare
paperwork to activate and maintain contract services Manage account
services through quality checks and other follow-up Identify and
resolve client concerns Prepare a variety of status reports,
including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals Communicate
new product and service opportunities, special developments,
information, or feedback gathered through field activity to
appropriate company staff Coordinate company staff to accomplish
the work required to close sales Develop and implement special
sales activities to reduce stock Participate in marketing events
such as seminars, conferences, trade shows, and telemarketing
events Participate in happy hours Follow-up for collection of
payment Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise
and services Provide on-the-job training to new sales employee
Making a minimum of 3-5 customer visits a day Other related tasks
as assigned by manager REQUIREMENTS Proficiency in problem solving
skills Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent organizational skills Outstanding presentation and
written communication skills Ability to manage multiple and
changing priorities Good reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
required Ability to persuade and influence others Ability to
develop and deliver presentations Ability to create, compose and
edit written materials Strong interpersonal and communication
skills Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and
providing a positive company image to the public Ability to do
significant travel to current and potential clients. Possession of
a valid state driver’s license within 60 days of employment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight
travel SAP Experience a plus Ability to work well in a fast paced
