Vice President of Business Development San Antonio, TX $125K base commission A well-established organization providing support services in the healthcare and human services space is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to drive expansion efforts across Texas and into new markets. Reporting directly to the President, this is a high-impact, highly autonomous leadership role perfect for someone energized by mission-driven work and ready to build out a growth function from the ground up. What You'll Do: Lead and implement strategic business development initiatives for existing and emerging markets Identify and secure new contracts, partnerships, and market entry opportunities Develop, manage, and submit compliant RFPs across multiple states Conduct market research and feasibility assessments for expansion into HCBS Medicaid Self-Directed programs Build and maintain relationships with state Medicaid agencies, MCOs, healthcare providers, and community partners Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, and executive leadership Navigate multi-state regulatory landscapes and monitor policy changes Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities Track KPIs and report outcomes to the Executive team Oversee contract negotiations and partner agreements Maintain compliance with HCBS standards and organizational protocols What We're Looking For: 5 years in senior-level business development, ideally within healthcare or Medicaid 3 years of experience leading RFP development and submissions Prior experience with Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) or Financial Management Service Agencies (FMSA) preferred Demonstrated success expanding services into new markets and securing contracts Bachelor's degree required (Business or Healthcare-related); Master's preferred Strong relationship-building, strategic planning, and communication skills Ability to lead autonomously, manage multiple initiatives, and travel as needed LI-MB1 businessdevelopment HealthcareLeadership TexasJobs SanAntonioJobs RFPs HCBS CFS LeadershipRole CareerOpportunity FMSA
