Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremenErect and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildingsInstall electrical components in accordance with building codes and regulationsWork with other electricians and contractors to install lighting fixtures and devicesDiagnose electrical problems in residential, commercial, and industrial settingsTest circuits to determine whether they are live or deadMeasure voltage, amperage, resistance, phase displacement using electrical instrumentsKnowledgeably discuss the implications of installing various types of wiringEnsure that the work is done in accordance with code, including the National Electrical CodeQualifications:
Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)Ability to complete jobs from start to finishExperience with nLight, wattstopper, Douglas, and Blue Box lighting controls -5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residentialTDLR Journeyman Electrician License (preferred, but not required)Efficiency in troubleshooting, problem solving and making repairs in a timely mannerExperience in installation of electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring and fixturesExperience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipmentValid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordWillingness to submit to and pass drug screenPowered by JazzHR
