Beginning in Texas and Florida, ONX plans to bring its unique model to major growth across the US in the next several years.What You Will Be Doing The IT Support Technician will be providing support and troubleshooting to employees with various hardware and software issues, will also be performing computing equipment setup and deployment for all employees and ensuring necessary hardware is in stock, and appropriate software installed for all new hired employees and distributed to appropriate locations. - -Essential Job Functions -

Address user issues regarding hardware, software and networking -Walk users through installing applications and computer peripherals. -Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems. -Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions -Conduct remote troubleshooting. -Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue. -Customize desktop applications to meet user needs. -Record technical issues and solutions in logs. -Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel -Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional. -Report customer feedback and potential product requests -Help create technical documentation and manuals. -IT Software and hardware inventory management. -Working with different IT groups on infrastructure and application projects. -Vendor co-ordination and management. Working with ISP on internet Issues. -Help with network, cctv, access control, telephony system deployment. - -Open for traveling to different factories, sites, and offices. -Required Qualifications - -
Degree in Computer Science or relevant field -Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies is a plus. -Knowledge of setting up network rack, server rack is a plus. -4-5 years of IT Support experience. -Proven work experience as a Support Engineer, system administrator, or similar role. -Need basic remote support, Chat and Call experience is plus. -Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, Mac OS environments, products, and applications -Hands-on experience Workstation, notebook, printers, scanners, and peripheral setup. -Hands on experience on Autodesk and design software installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting. -Tools such as: Anti-virus software, Cloud platforms or Microsoft active directory -Troubleshooting and problem isolation by implementing temporary patches -Excellent speaking and written communication ability -Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills -Proven ability to provide high-quality technical support in a corporate environment. -Strong knowledge of office products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners, access control system, conference rooms hardware, IP phones etc. -Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs. -Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions. -Customer-oriented attitude -Physical Requirements -The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear.
