As an insulation estimator you will be completing residential/commercial or multifamily take-offs from builder blueprints and complete material and labor estimates. Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to create load calculations and designs Estimate material amounts and cost of labor to complete the installation of insulation in residential / commercial homes and building Communicate directly to the customer/builder when necessary High School Diploma or GED Experience using software programs to create duct layouts, bill materials and estimate cost of proposal Understand how to read blue prints, draw and draft design plans Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions Valid drivers license to drive a company vehicle Position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
