Stock Room--Supervisor - Georgetown, Texas
SUMMARY: Moves materials to the manufacturing area, keeps track of and maintains inventory personally or through subordinates: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Creates Hot Sheet to show shortages for pulled work orders.
  • Analyzes daily reprom sheets and notifies analyst of any part shortages.
  • Identifies orders that need to be pulled early.
  • Prints shortage work order reports.
  • Prints work order priority list and makes sure it is followed.
  • Reviews weekly and monthly cycle count adjustments.
  • Resolves discrepancies as required.
  • Responsible for neatness of stockroom, following ---first-in, first out--- procedures and maintenance of stock locations to accommodate changes, additions and deletions.
  • Maintains inventory and other stock records in computer. -- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:
    • Completion of at least two years of college or vocational training in a related professional, specialized, or general field of knowledge,
    • Two to seven years of related experience or training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. -- QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
