Job Description:
Job purpose * This position will be the main customer contact
for product ordering, planning and delivery requirements. This main
function to be supported by internal plant communication,
organization and follow up of such requirements Duties and
responsibilities * Enter customer orders and amendments into TMM
system. * Review, follow up, and expedite delivery of orders. *
Coordinate, follow-up, and expedite Quality issues to resolution.
Work with Quality Assurance to maintain or correct level of product
quality. * Work with sales, management team, engineering and cost
estimator to verify and update product price database. Work with
Sales, Quality, and Engineering to verify technically balanced
analysis of new customer projects. * Follow plant delivery
performance and address all issues with Materials Manager for
resolution (i.e., delivery, price, availability). * Perform data
entry tasks to maintain and update weekly customer orders and
forecast. * Perform cycle counts as assigned by the Materials
Manager to ensure finished good inventory levels are accurate.
Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * 3-5 years' experience
in a manufacturing environment using a MRP system preferred *
Proficient in computers * Considerable independent judgment
