We are looking for a motivated Chiropractor to join our practice full time in Georgetown, TX. We have a state-of-the-art practice in Georgetown, which is a suburb of Austin, located about 30 min north of the city.
We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and personable Chiropractor who enjoys helping others on their journey to health and wellness. Our ideal candidate is organized, professional and willing to work as a part of team, and comfortable recommending corrective care treatment plans that include therapy and rehab?
We would like the incoming associate to follow our adjusting style while adapting to the patients body type and conditions. It is important that there is thought about where and where not to adjust and to be specific with our adjustment to achieve the best possible results. We use flexion-distraction with most patients, adjust manually either Gonstead, Diversified, or Thompson Drop, and utilize passive modalities, decompression therapy and rehabilitative exercises. We also utilize arthrostim and gentler adjusting techniques if needed. The doctors primary role is to direct care and adjust patients -- typically assistants will carry out therapy and rehab protocols with the patients.
Duties:
Patient exams-evaluations -new patient exams and consultations, (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent reports-imaging)
Take and review X-rays
Diagnosis and treatment care planning following office guidelines
Patient education through acute phases to wellness phases, explain phases of care and converting wellness, the ROFs, diagnosis, treatment care plan options, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic exercises
Chiropractic care-, Adjustments (manual adjusting, drops, arthrostim, flexion-distraction tables, percussor for myofascial release, extremity adjusting, decompression, and directing care, occasionally assist with therapy and rehab, and modalities
Collaboration with the assistants with therapeutic activities and rehab
Participation in Meetings (Huddle with staff to go over patient cases and reinforcing patient treatment plans, acute and wellness plans)
Follow up care and progress checks
Documentation-charting-reports- daily statistics and treatment planning, being cognizant of production
Work collaboratively with the other Doctors, assistants, and office staff for optimal patient care
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
Chiropractic license in TX
Schedule:
Full time
Monday Thursday
No weekend work
3-day weekend!
Compensation:
$65k-$90k (DOE)
Benefit package:
Bonus compensation- bonus based on patient visits seen & production
Vacation 1 week (increases to 2 weeks with year 2)
