Job Description Job Description TOOLING ASSOCIATE / HORIZONTAL
MANUAL LATHE HELPER Monday – Thursday 8:30 pm - 7:00 am $19.17 per
hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure that all tools are supplied and
available to use. Responsible for utilizing a manual lathe machine
for the polishing of tools used by the operative. Will use a manual
horizontal lathe and will polish all tools to ensure production is
getting the optimal yield Must indicate and align all tools to
specification Must follow strict guidelines of training in
reference to polishing Will polish all tools when required (E-seals
and O-rings) Keep track of all tools polished and unpolished in a
required log Keep machine and polishing area clean of all debris
Must be able to operate forklift and other equipment to move larger
tools around the shop JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 6 months of
experience working in a manufacturing environment, or relevant
experience Prior experience operating manual lathe or manual
horizontal lathe machines Prior machining experience Must have a
High School Diploma/GED
