Job Description:
Essential Job Functions Threat/Warning Analyst I Aid in
collection and initial processing of threat and
vulnerability-related information from multiple sources. Support
classified and open-source research identifying cybersecurity
threats to NSA infrastructure, data, and systems. Implement
mitigations in accordance with cyber incident response plan. Assist
in development of cyber indicators and signatures derived from
gathered information. Aid in report and summary development.
Communicate written and verbal information in a timely, clear, and
concise manner. Threat/Warning Analyst II Aid in collection and
initial processing of threat and vulnerability-related information
from multiple sources. Support classified and open-source research
identifying cybersecurity threats to NSA infrastructure, data, and
systems. Assist developing cyber indicators and signatures derived
from gathered information. Aid in report and summary development.
Communicate written and verbal information in a timely, clear, and
concise manner. Understand, extract, and correlate relevant threat
information from multiple sources. Perform advanced research into
adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Minimum Required
Qualifications Due to the nature of this position and the
information that employees will be required to access, U.S.
Citizenship is required. Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with
FS Poly. Required High School Diploma. Threat/Warning Analyst I No
demonstrated experience is required. Requires DoD 8570 compliance
with Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Analyst baseline
certification, Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or
Level II certification, and Computing Environment (CE)
certification. Multiple shifts available. Threat/Warning Analyst II
Four years of demonstrated experience as a Threat/Warning analyst
or technical intelligence analyst. Two years of experience may be
substituted with a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Requires DoD 8570 compliance with Cybersecurity Service Provider
(CSSP) Analyst baseline certification, Information Assurance
Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification, and Computing
Environment (CE) certification. Requires GIAC Cyber Threat
Intelligence (GCTI) certification OR Certified Threat Intelligence
Analyst (CTIA) certification.
