Data Analyst Tier 1 Tech Support Location: San Antonio, TX Working Model: On-site Compensation: $80,000-$95,000 (depending on experience) Our client, a growing construction company based in San Antonio, is looking for a Data Analyst with a blend of analytical skills and basic IT support experience. This hybrid role will be responsible for developing Power BI dashboards, conducting performance analysis, and providing Tier 1 technical support related to hardware, tablets, and asset tracking. Key Responsibilities for the Data Analyst Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations, finance, and project teams Analyze large datasets to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and support strategic decision-making Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven insights Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration from multiple systems Conduct statistical analysis to support forecasting and operational planning Provide Tier 1 support for basic technical issues including tablets, printers, and laptops Manage asset inventory and assist with device setup, distribution, and tracking Document troubleshooting steps and escalate more complex issues when needed Support ongoing process improvements in reporting and technology use across field teams Preferred Skills & Qualifications for the Data Analyst 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting-focused role Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) Working knowledge of SQL and Excel for data manipulation Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge (hardware, tablets, software installs) Familiarity with construction, project-based work, or field support environments is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to support both office and field teams Strong organizational skills, especially around tracking assets and managing competing priorities Education and Experience Preferred for the Data Analyst Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field Experience supporting both analytics and tech support functions in a mid-sized company Bonus: Familiarity with ERP systems or construction management software Whether you're actively looking or just open to the right fit, we'd love to connect.
