*Apply for this position at: Careers/Job Opportunities**Cook/Cashier **Reports to: *Cafeteria Manager *Status: * Full Time*Dept./Campus: *Assigned Campus*Term: *176 Days*PRIMARY PURPOSE: *Work under moderate supervision to prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation and safety practices.*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES*o *Food Preparation and Serving *o Prepare quality food according to a planned menu of tested and uniform recipes.o Serve food according to meal schedules, departmental policies, procedures, practice and promote portion control and proper use of leftovers.o Store and handle food items and supplies safely according to established procedures.
