NP/PA Hospitalist (APP)

South Texas 12-Hour Shifts $85 per Hour (Housing Covered)
Community Hospital Day Coverage

She Recruits is partnering with a well-supported community hospital in South Texas to recruit an experienced Hospitalist APP (NP or PA) for a 12-hour daytime coverage model.

This opportunity is ideal for providers seeking structured shifts, collaborative physician oversight, and manageable patient volume in a smaller hospital setting.

Compensation

$85 per hour
12-hour shifts (10a 10p)

1099 structure (if applicable confirm if W2)

Schedule
10:00 AM 10:00 PM
12-hour shifts
APP surge and flex coverage model
No residents

Structured collaboration with physician leadership and additional APP support.

25-bed acute care hospital
19-bed Emergency Department
Level IV Trauma designation
Newly opened facility (2022)

Clinical Environment
Open ICU
No procedures required
24/7 Teleneurology (ED stroke support only)
Specialty representation includes:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Cardiology
Radiology
Wound Care

High transfer-out rate reduces high-acuity burden.

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible (if NP: FNP/AGNP; if PA: NCCPA certified)
Hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
ACLS & BLS required
Texas license or eligibility
