Health Pay: $2,080 to $2,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 5
days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About
the Position Pay Rate: $52.00 - $56.00/Hourly. Summary: We are
looking for a skilled, sympathetic Speech Pathologist to provide
quality care for our patients. The speech pathologist will perform
screenings, assess patient condition, and design therapy and
treatment plans to help the patient develop necessary speech
skills. You should be caring and knowledgeable about speech-related
conditions and therapies. Responsibilities: Effectively
screens/evaluates/rehabilitate patients with communication,
cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of
care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to
support clinical interventions. Assesses patient’s progress and
adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory
and clinical practice requirements. Evaluates treatment outcomes
for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient
evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes. Provides
consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families,
caregivers and other service providers related to the speech
disorders. Effectively communicates with supervisor and other
health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and
treatment plans. Provides comprehensive discharge summary of
services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
Requirements Requirements: 1 year of SLP experience Required. Long
Term Care (LTC) or Rehab experience Required. New Grads OKAY- as
long as a Level II experience and not just a Level I observation
experience TX State License Required. Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC certified SLP)
Required. 3 years experience holding active CCS preferred. BLS
