Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Vocational Nurse to join our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient rehabilitation care tailored for stroke, brain injury, and other complex conditions. Our mission is to enable patients to reach their highest levels of independence. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of providing compassionate patient care, ability to monitor patient health conditions, administer treatments, and communicate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate holistic recovery plans. Provide direct nursing care according to the prescribed patient therapy plan. Maintain accurate patient records and monitor patient's conditions and progress. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider. Educate patients and their families on treatment and care plans. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other medical professionals to deliver effective patient care. Strong patient management skills Proficiency with medical software and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as a part of a team Knowledge of medication administration and wound care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license CPR certification
