Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Vocational Nurse to join
our team, helping to deliver superior care in a supportive

Vocational Nurses play a crucial role in our patients'
rehabilitation journey, providing essential medical care to those
recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other complex

Provide skilled nursing care to patients as prescribed by the
physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and
regulations. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records
of vital signs and medical information. Administer medications and
perform routine procedures such as wound care, and intramuscular
and intravenous therapies. Collaborate with rehabilitation team to
optimize patient treatment and recovery. Educate patients and their
families about treatment and care plans. Support a safe environment
for patients and staff by adhering to facility's safety policies
and procedures. Strong clinical skills in a rehabilitation setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
clinical software and documentation Ability to work collaboratively
in an interdisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
CPR/BLS certification
