Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team in providing exemplary, efficient care through evaluating and treating patients with difficulties related to speaking, communication, and swallowing. In our mission to provide an integrated approach to healthcare, you will play a crucial role in both facility-based and home-based care settings. Your expertise will help in maximizing patient recovery and enhancing the quality of our services across the healthcare continuum in the United States. Assess and diagnose individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Plan and provide treatment strategies and therapies for patients. Educate patients and families about communication techniques and strategies. Regularly document and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, and other therapists to provide holistic care. Conduct research on effective speech therapy techniques and contribute to professional knowledge bases. Proficiency in various speech therapy techniques and diagnostic tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Expertise in patient and family education regarding speech disorders. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
