Occupational Therapist Location: Temple, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,571 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Profession: Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years OTA experience in Long Term Care setting License: Texas or compact license required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Texas or compact license required Description: Executes specialized therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist. Guides patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination. Teaches patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) using adaptive techniques. Instructs patients and families on how to use special tools such as reachers and mobility aids. Records detailed notes on patient progress and behavioral changes. Reports findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed. Provides emotional encouragement to patients and trains caregivers on home program assistance. Prepares treatment areas and cleans equipment. Handles administrative duties as needed. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
