Practitioner (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) Education and Experience Requirements: · Master’s Degree · At least one year of experience ( required ) · Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant License for State of Texas in good standing · Active DEA license in good standing · Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification · Experience in diagnosing and treating acute health problems relative to allergy, asthma, and immunology issues ( preferred ) · Experience in ordering, performing, or interpreting results of diagnostic tests · Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel in assigned practice environment · Stay abreast of developments in allergy, asthma, and immunology field · Maintain basic knowledge of insurance and billing practices as related to patient care in clinic setting
