find a qualified CVICU RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78229! Job
Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU RN – Texas Start Date: January 19,
2026 Location: San Antonio, Texas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
/ 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per
week Highlights: Specialize in post-CABG, post-VAD, and
post-catheterization care with advanced cardiac support devices
including IABP, Impella, and ECMO Utilize critical skills including
hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz, arterial lines) and ventilator
management 13 or 26-week assignment in a high-acuity CVICU
environment Work within a faith-based healthcare system with over
50 years of patient-centered care excellence Documentation via
Meditech EMR system Float pool participation required per facility
policy Requirements: Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses
not accepted) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Current
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Demonstrated
expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
Preferred: IABP and CRRT exposure; Meditech charting experience Why
