Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
for our Medical-Surgical unit, committed to providing top-notch

our team. Manage and provide direct care for patients in a
Medical-Surgical setting, including assessments, planning,
implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary team members, ensuring optimal patient care is
administered in a compassionate and timely manner. Adhere to high
standards of nursing care and practice as set by Ascension and
regulatory bodies. Educate patients and their families on
health-related issues, post-treatment home care needs, and disease
prevention. Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with
hospital policies and procedures. Participate in continuous
improvements and quality improvement initiatives. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient recovery
and track progress towards health outcomes. Proficient in patient
care and safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Critical thinking
and problem-solving abilities Competence in operating medical
equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred.
