Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites new graduate RNs to apply for our
specialized New Grad RN Resident position within our
Medical-Surgical Specialties units. At HCA Healthcare, we are

learning. This residency program offers a structured curriculum of
training and mentorship designed specifically to equip new RNs with
the skills and confidence needed to excel in the dynamic field of
medical-surgical nursing. You'll collaborate with leading
professionals at the forefront of healthcare and enjoy a supportive
environment that bridges your academic preparation with
comprehensive, practical patient care experiences. Provide direct
and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical
unit. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate
individualized care plans. Monitor and maintain patient records,
administer medications, and communicate patient progress.
Participate in educational workshops and hands-on training sessions
as part of the residency program. Adhere to all hospital policies
and regulatory and licensing requirements. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to think critically and make decisions
in a fast-paced environment Compassion and patience in dealing with
patients and families Proficiency in using medical software for
patient care management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must pass the NCLEX-RN exam Current
registered nurse license in the state of employment Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification required from the American Heart
Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
