Job Description:
Pain Medicine Physician - San Antonio, TX (New graduates
Accepted) Schedule: Monday - Friday (No on Call) Shifts: Full-time,
Outpatient Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and
compassionate Pain Medicine Physician to join our team in San
Antonio, TX. The physician will diagnose and treat patients
experiencing acute and chronic pain, utilizing advanced
interventional techniques and collaborating with a
multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Roles &
Responsibilities: • Perform thorough evaluations of patients with
acute and chronic pain conditions. • Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans using interventional pain management
procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, joint
injections, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty,
and related techniques. • Collaborate with advanced practice
providers, psychiatrists, physical therapists, and other healthcare
professionals. • Supervise and work alongside support staff,
including NP/PAs, medical assistants, and scribes. • Provide timely
and efficient patient care while maintaining appointment schedules.
• Manage a high volume of patient referrals in an outpatient
setting. Qualifications: • ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. • ABA Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management. •
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management
(ACGME-accredited or equivalent). • Valid Texas medical license (or
eligibility to obtain). • New graduates are welcome to apply.
