Physical Therapist Location: San Antonio, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,951 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Texas PT license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Inpatient Rehab/ARU experience Description: The director will confirm the schedule. The unit has 30 beds and a total of 35 staff members. Day shift includes PT, OT, SLP, and Rehab Techs, while the night shift includes nursing staff. Patient ratios are 5-6 patients per staff member, with 5-6 hours of treatment provided. Typical therapy involves 3 hours of therapy 5-7 days a week, consisting of 1.5 hours of PT, 1.5 hours of OT, and 30 minutes of speech therapy if included in the case load. The ideal candidate should have experience working with the geriatric population, particularly with stroke, hip fractures, debility, amputees, cardiac issues, and spine surgeries. Candidates must exhibit a friendly, bubbly demeanor, be flexible, and possess a strong work ethic. Floating may occur to the acute care side of the facility.
