– Round Rock Medical Center Department: Intensive Care Unit
Position: RN Charge Status: Full Time, 3 x 12’s Shift/Schedule:
Night Shift, 6:45pm – 7:15am Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Intensive
Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role within
Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The Intensive Care
Unit (ICU) Nurses (RN) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Round
Rock care for both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients and
Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on this 26-bed mixed acuity unit
with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical ratios consist of 1:1 for high
acuity patients, 1:2 for general Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients
and 1:3 for Intermediate Care (IMC) patients. Our Intensive Care
Unit (ICU) level patients consist of Medical Intensive Care Unit
(MICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients. The
ideal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) would have at
least one year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
experience, two years preferred. Baylor Scott & White Round Rock
hospital is equipped with almost 170 beds, a Level II Trauma
Center, and Level IV Maternal Designation. This full-service
hospital provides a wide network of medical expertise and resources
and was as an enhanced ability to care for patients. The medical
center, adjacent specialty clinics and freestanding cancer center
provide a full range of personalized care in more than 40

not limited to): - Coordinates and supervises daily nursing
activities and patient care assignments. - Monitors patient flow -
admissions, discharges, and transfers. - Assists staff nurses with
complex patient situations, critical changes, or emergencies. -
Ensures high standards of care, safety, and adherence to policies.
- Delegates duties appropriately. - Provides guidance or coaching
on clinical issues. - Acts as first line of communication for staff
concerns. - Serves as liaison between bedside staff and management.

of an Accredited Nursing Program · Minimum one year of Intensive
Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, two years of
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience
preferred. · License/Certification · RN – Registered Nurse · BLS –
Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
