You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members./n/nThe ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:/n • Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license./n • Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification./n • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus./n • Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems./n • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment./n • Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary./n • Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident./n • Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions./n • Be able to maintain patience and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors./n/n/nBenefits:/nTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
