Job Description:
PediaStaff, a leader in the placement of pediatric and
school-based therapy professionals, is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join
our dynamic team. This role involves working closely within school
settings to support children with speech and language needs,
ensuring they achieve their communication and learning potential.

professional development. Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in
the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and
fluency disorders. Implement speech therapy plans designed by the
licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Document student progress and
provide feedback to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
Use a variety of clinically proven techniques to aid speech and
language development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
school staff to implement strategies to improve student
communication skills in the classroom. Help maintain equipment and
manage supplies and materials. Participate in IEP meetings,
providing insights and updates on student progress. Strong
understanding of speech-language pathology practices especially
within pediatric and school-based settings. Ability to follow and
execute detailed therapy plans effectively. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team. Capability to adapt interventions to
individual student needs. Proficiency in data collection and the
use of technology in documenting case notes. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k State licensing as a
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), if required by the
state. Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA) may also be beneficial but not required.
