Job Description:
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides
high-quality patient care in acute hospital settings, demonstrating
adaptability within a flexible team. Responsibilities include
assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
patient care using evidence-based practices. Performs treatments,
administers medications, manages IVs, monitors vitals, and offers
emotional and educational support. Utilizes electronic health
records and maintains strict adherence to HIPAA and safety
protocols. Requires active NY RN license, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and
18-24 months of relevant experience depending on assignment type.
Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and
critical-thinking skills are essential. Positions are full-time,
part-time, or PRN with night shifts, offering competitive pay
($65-$75/hr), benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and
flexible schedules.
