Job Description:

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in urgent care or occupational health settings, providing compassionate, respectful care aligned with organizational values. They ensure clear communication of treatment plans and document care accurately in electronic systems. They handle coding and billing appropriately, act ethically, and maintain clinical productivity standards. Follow-up on patient care is essential. Supports the organization by delivering exemplary patient care, fostering community relationships, and contributing to success.
Essential qualifications include an active Oklahoma medical license, DEA, NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification, and appropriate scope of practice. Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree, active BLS, and proficiency with EHR required. DOT certification may be needed, with training provided if not already certified. Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays is required.
Valued but not required skills include x-ray interpretation, suturing, prior urgent care experience, and a Master's in Physician Assistant studies.
