Join Ascension's Maternal Helo Transport Team at Seton Medical Center Austin and start living your calling today Title: RN - Labor & Delivery Transport Shift: Full-Time (36 hrs), Night Shift, Self-Scheduling Department: Maternal Helo Transport Hospital: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin Location: 1201 West 38th Street, Austin, TX 78705 Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin is a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care and a Comprehensive Level 1 Stroke Center. ASMCA has also been awarded the Gold Plus Level Performance Award from the American Heart Association. Responsibilities: Performs assessment and stabilization of patients as well as any necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.- Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments by collaborating with team members and multidisciplinary members.- Participates in decision-making and partners with the multidisciplinary team to enhance operational efficiency.- Completes all appropriate medical documentation.- May be required to drive an ambulance to transport patients and/or supplies. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Allowed in lieu of BLS Provider. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Allowed in lieu of Pediatric Life Support. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Allowed in lieu of Neonatal Resuscitation. Certification specializing in ER Vehicle Operation preferred. Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight preferred. Drivers License preferred. Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred. Paramedic preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
