About Us We are an Austin, Texas based firm specializing in custom home building, whole house renovations and additions as well as extensive kitchen and bath remodeling. We partner with award winning architects and designers to deliver notable projects for discriminating clients in Austin's most prestigious neighborhoods. Responsibilities 1. Confirm all aspects of the Pre-Construction to Production hand-off package, including plans, specifications, schedule and buy-out. 2. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to build projects per plans, scope of work, specifications and selections. 3. Schedule subcontractors and material deliveries. 4. Manage long lead deliver items 5. Double check all Bids Accepted for accuracy BEFORE authorizing order " specific emphasis on expensive, long lead items (windows, cabinets, etc). 6. Place orders and manage delivery of long lead items (windows, doors, cabinets, etc). 7. Conduct thorough and accurate project layouts. 8. Maintain up-to-date project schedules on SmartSheets. 9. Maintain up-to-date punch lists on PlanGrid, including timely check-off of completed items. 10. Schedule all required inspections. 11. Maintain safe, clean and orderly jobsites and manage Assistant Project Manager. 12. Post and maintain jobsite signage. 13. Photo document projects and log on Box. 14. Log all field paperwork (surveys, third party inspection reports, etc) on Box in a timely fashion. 15. Prepare agendas, schedule updates and run weekly client update meetings. Log accurate meeting minutes and immediately begin following weeks update using this as source document. 16. Approve subcontractor and supplier invoices and manage disputed invoices in Box. 17. Track and manage back charges with Production Manager and Accounting Manager. 18. Manage Client Change Order Request (requirements gathering) process with Production Manager. 19. Obtain signed Change Orders from Clients once Project Development Manager has approval. 20. Fill out Quality Control checklists and log on Box. 21. Conduct Client punch walk and manage punch list. 22. Conduct final client walk and hand off. 23. Manage Warranty Requests, including logging into PlanGrid, weekly review of outstanding items 24. Participate in weekly Production Meetings. Come prepared, take notes. 25. Participate in project Post Mortem meetings. 26. Develop specific product and method capabilities and cross-train other team members. 27. Provide feedback to Estimating & Purchasing Manager regarding suppliers and subcontractors. 28. Provide new subcontractors and suppliers to Estimating & Purchasing Manager for evaluation. Education College Diploma, construction technology or related field, preferred but no required. Qualifications Experience in construction and construction supervising Experience in high-end residential custom home building Experience in residential remodeling Skills Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent written communication skills High attention to detail Comfortable in high-tech paperless working environment Well organized Compensation $80,000.00 per year or higher, based on capabilities.
