We are currently seeking a skilled Refrigeration Operator to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our refrigeration and cooling systems essential to our food processing operations. The successful candidate will manage operational systems, oversee maintenance procedures, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in supporting our mission to nourish and sustain the global community by ensuring our products are safely processed and stored. Operate and maintain industrial refrigeration systems used in food processing. Monitor system performance and adjust settings to ensure optimal energy use and cost efficiency. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of refrigeration systems. Record and report on maintenance work performed and system statuses. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and participate in training sessions to enhance skills. Proficiency in operating and maintaining ammonia-based refrigeration systems. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in industrial environments. Ability to read and interpret system diagrams and technical documents. Skill in using tools and equipment required for maintenance and repair tasks.
