Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) to provide services in a school setting located in San Antonio, TX. This maternity leave role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and requires itinerant service delivery between two middle schools serving grades 6-8. You will work with approximately 100 students, addressing diverse speech and language needs within this age group. Key Responsibilities: - Provide assessment and therapy services to students with speech and language impairments - Implement individualized treatment plans and document progress in compliance with school and legal requirements - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students communication development - Participate in meetings related to student progress, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and staffing sessions - Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times Qualifications and Experience: - Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) with a valid professional license - Experience working with middle school-aged students (grades 6-8) preferred - Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across two campuses - Must complete fingerprinting and background check prior to assignment - Strong communication and organizational skills required Location: - San Antonio, TX, serving Garner Middle School and Wood Middle School Important Dates: - Onboarding completion targeted for March 30, 2026 - Projected start date: April 6, 2026 - Contract duration: April 1, 2026 May 22, 2026 This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP to gain valuable school-based experience in a supportive environment.
