Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a hybrid role in a school setting. This professional will provide direct speech and language therapy to students, along with assessments and consultations, both on-site and online. The successful candidate will join a supportive team committed to implementing tailored educational services that empower every child with special needs to achieve their full potential. Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations to assess student communication skills and requirements. Develop treatment plans with achievable goals, in collaboration with educational staff and parents. Provide personalized face-to-face and remote therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each child. Document and maintain records of student progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholders. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss educational strategies and students' progress. Adhere to all school policies, and local, state, and federal regulations concerning special education. Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage students effectively in virtual and face-to-face settings. Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and educational technology. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience with special education and IEPs is preferred.
