Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education Teacher (EC-5) is needed to support
early childhood students in an elementary school setting in
Killeen, TX. This contract role focuses on providing specialized
instruction and care for 3 and 4-year-old students with diverse
learning needs. The position involves collaborating closely with a
lead teacher and two paraprofessionals to create an inclusive and
effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized and group instruction tailored to special education
goals for early childhood students Develop, implement, and monitor
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with Texas
state guidelines Collaborate with team members to support
developmental and academic progress Maintain accurate records and
documentation of student performance and behavior Communicate
regularly with families and caregivers to update on student
progress Qualifications: Valid Texas Special Education (EC-5)
licensure is required Experience working with preschool-aged
children (3-4 years old) in a special education context preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to adapt
instructional methods to meet diverse student needs Position
Details: Location: Killeen, TX (Elementary School) Schedule: Monday
through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Contract type: School Year
