Job Description Job Description HVAC Mechanical Contractor in Austin, Texas seeking a highly organized and motivated Estimating & Project Coordinator to support the Pre-Construction and Estimating Department . This is a fast-paced, multifaceted, in-office role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support the Estimating and Pre-Construction team on active and upcoming bids Assist with pre-bid preparation, cost estimates, and proposal development Create and maintain: Bid sheets Bid lists Submittals Vendor and subcontractor documentation Track bid deadlines, schedules, and required submissions Maintain organized digital and physical project files Coordinate communication between estimating, project management, and leadership teams Assist with workflow and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting an estimating or pre-construction team HVAC Mechanical estimating experience strongly preferred Candidates with plumbing, electrical, or related trade estimating experience will be considered Working knowledge of construction documents and bid processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High work ethic, self-driven, motivated, and team-oriented Technology & Tools Proficiency with construction technology and estimating software Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Experience with digital documentation and file management systems Interest or experience using AI tools or automation to improve estimating and pre-construction workflows is a strong plus Compensation & Growth Pay commensurate with experience and references Long-term growth opportunity with a stable and reputable mechanical contractor Location North Central Austin Company Description We are a homegrown, local Texas company that started with a plan that has now become our mission and purpose: to serve our clients and candidates alike.
