There's always something new to explore and explain.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Technical Proposal Writer-Federal on our Technical Writer Team in Round Rock, Texas.What you'll achieveThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical narratives in support of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Tenders, and Requests for Information (RFIs) issued by the U.S. Federal Government and other government customers in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. As a Dell Federal Technical Proposal Writer, you will interact with our sales teams and various Dell technical experts to produce competitive technical narratives that will be incorporated into our winning proposal responses. The technical narratives you create will clearly demonstrate how Dell offers the best value and overall solution for its customers.You will:

• Closely collaborate with the project pursuit teams throughout the proposal lifecycle to develop compliant, compelling, and succinct narratives conveying team qualifications and technical approach in response to RFP requirements
• Develop and write customer-facing narratives that meet, and exceed where possible, Request of Qualifications/Request for Proposals (RFQ/RFP) criteria including, but not limited to technical approaches to solution design, project management, services and project delivery, experience/past performance, and cover letters
• Participate in pre-proposal meetings and contribute to the development of storyboard and win themes based on RFQ/RFP requirements
• Review the RFQ/RFP for specific response criteria for assigned deliverable sections; Develop compliance matrices to ensure all customer requirements are addressed in a compelling and compliant manner
• Participate in proposal stand-up calls, and coordinate ad-hoc meetings as required to ensure your deliverables are progressing according to required timelines and deliverable due datesTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.   • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in technical writing, preferably in creating compliant and compelling technical narratives in response to the customer's RFP requirements in the IT industry
  • Must possess strong leadership, organizational, writing, grammar, and editing skills
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and be adept at working in a deadline-driven environment, and in coordinating virtual teams
  • Must be a verified U.S. citizenDesirable Requirements
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
