Better yet, become one! CPI has an immediate need for a Product
Marketing Manager. This position can be based out of any of
CPIrsquos locations in New Bern, NC., Georgetown, TX. or Simi
Valley, CA.! As a CPI Product Marketing Manager, you will occupy a
key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical
infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the worldrsquos
digital technology. Day to day, you will, be a leader on CPIrsquos
Global Marketing team, responsible for telling the world (and our
industry, partners, and own company) the story of CPIrsquos global
products and solutions. You will act as CPIrsquos chief product
marketing ambassador, responsible for advocating the various
feature sets and benefits of the companyrsquos comprehensive
product portfolio. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting
the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new product
launches. As an individual contributor reporting directly to
CPIrsquos Senior Director, Global Marketing, you will be an
integral part of a small team and play a significant role in being
the companyrsquos eyes, ears, and voice of the customer, driving
innovation for the entire CPI company and product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Providing expert understanding of the
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry Creating a
vision and strategy for how CPIrsquos various units can grow their
share of the market, including physical infrastructure, software,
and solutions for all markets. Defining relevant markets and
targeting end users, channel partners and contractors to be served
by the companyrsquos product portfolio. Creating and building key
parts of the product roadmap based on key market trends and
compelling opportunities that differentiate CPI as a market leader
Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business.
Being the voice of the customer in driving innovation for the CPI
portfolio, translating that knowledge into an executable
go-to-market (GTM) strategy. Representing CPI as product and
solutions expert at industry, channel, supplier, and customer
events. Developing and implementing sales enablement programs and
sales tools that support the companyrsquos product portfolio sales
process. This includes close cooperation and collaboration with
CPIrsquos Marketing Communications team on messaging, positioning
and creating content (via presentations, web copy, videos, blog
articles, white papers, and other collateral) to support key GTM
strategies, as a subject matter expert (SME). Assist members of
CPIrsquos Sales teams on calls with prospects when appropriate to
provide deeper dives into product discussions. Measure and optimize
the buyerrsquos journey as it relates to product feature adoption
and usage. QUALIFICATIONS Core Competencies Excellent writing
skills in communicating key product values and competitive
differentiation in a clear and concise manner. Proven ability to
understand market needs and devise effective GTM strategies and
roadmaps. Experience collaborating with Marketing Communications
and Sales on outbound marketing efforts and details. Experience in
digital marketing, product marketing, andor product management.
Proficiency in content management systems. You will be expected to
build product pages, optimize the conversion paths on those pages,
and use dynamic calls-to-action (CTAs) to create and test buyer,
stage-specific CTAs. Exceptional presentation skills, with the
ability to evangelize the message. Experience in guiding
cross-functional teams to a precise understanding of product
decisions with resulting impact. Experience in analytics gathering
and interpreting results into meaningful reports. Demonstrated
ability to successfully launch products and services globally.
Experience in managing an infrastructure and software portfolio.
Expertise in the ICT industry. Ability to travel approximately 20,
including international travel as may be required. Technical
Competencies Bachelorrsquos Degree required, Marketing, Computer
Science or Technology degree a plus. Minimum seven (7) years in a
related product marketing position, with emphasis in technology
markets highly preferred. PhysicalEnvironmental Requirements
Extensive utilization of listening and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. to move file boxes, etc. as needed. Some
