Overview: /n Astound is currently searching for an IT Administrator
II in our San Marcos, TX office. This position is responsible for
maintaining the integrity and security of internal systems and
servers that support the day to day operations of all Astound
offices. This individual will also provide responsive and efficient
end user support on a variety of IT related issues. /n The primary
position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: /n
/n - End User Support /n /n - Monitor and Resolve incoming
ServiceDesk Support Issues /n - Provide training on supported
platforms /n /n - Desktop Support /n /n - Perform Move/Add/Changes
as required /n - Hardware/Software upgrades /n - Company owned
application support /n - Hardware repairs /n /n - Citrix
Administration /n /n - Troubleshooting issues within system as well
as individual computers /n /n - Documentation and standardization
of existing infrastructure /n /n - IT Network Elements /n -
Troubleshooting processes /n /n - Tier 1 Escalation /n /n - Resolve
ticket escalated from Tier 1 administrators /n - Gather information
for Tier 3 – System Administrators before escalating to Engineering
/n /n - Other duties as assigned or required /n - Administration of
Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Terminal Services /n - Administration
of Internal Security Systems /n - Involvement in Automation and
Deployment solutions /n /n Our ideal candidate will possess: /n /n
- 1-3 years of service desk or technical support experience /n -
Previous experience with Windows Server /n - Self-motivated to
identify issues and develop appropriate resolution /n - A desire to
learn and the ability to stay knowledgeable in new and changing
technology /n - Ability to effectively communicate both written and
verbally /n - Ability to work independently with little or no
supervision /n - Ability to lift up to and including 50lbs, climb
ladders, and work in confined spaces. /n /n We're Proud to Offer a

range in Texas for this position is $25.00/hr - $32.00/hr plus
opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable.
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring
range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below
the range based on various factors including but not limited to
relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to
Texas and may not be applicable to other locations. /n /n Our
