This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organization that is rapidly growing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial and cost analysis for the company, supporting our overall strategy and helping us achieve our financial goals. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to: 1. Preparing, analyzing and reporting weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 2. Applying six sigma principles to improve our cost accounting processes and systems. 3. Developing annual budgets and forecasts, and analyzing variances to actuals. 4. Preparing cost reports, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for cost efficiencies. 5. Working closely with the manufacturing team to understand and manage production costs. 6. Utilizing Netsuite and SAP for accounting operations and financial reporting. 7. Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. 8. Managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection. 9. Collaborating with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives. 10. Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost accounting role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting. 4. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 5. Proficiency in using Netsuite and SAP for accounting operations and financial reporting. 6. Solid understanding of six sigma principles and their application in cost accounting. 7. Proven experience in developing and implementing internal controls. 8. Excellent skills in managing accounts receivable. 9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. 10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
